The South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) is ready to welcome you to our team! SJTPO is seeking a full-time Program Manager to manage several program areas, including the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ)/Carbon Reduction Program (CRP), general Congestion Mitigation Planning (CMP), and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) planning, which will advance equity-focused federally funded projects in the SJTPO region. The starting salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 (Range 8), depending on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to representing the SJTPO at local, state, and federal events, program management, development of local project efforts, oversight of SJTPO's project delivery and implementation process, and other related areas. The Program Manager will report directly to the Executive Director and serve in a supervisory position. The position will oversee others responsible for Congestion Mitigation Planning (CMP), ensuring that related projects use federal funds. The position will also help ensure SJTPO's Subregional Planning Work Program's continued success and integration into regional planning efforts. Fieldwork and travel are required. The starting salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 (Range 8), depending on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to representing the SJTPO at local, state, and federal events, program management, development of local project efforts, oversight of SJTPO’s Safety Planning, and other related areas. The Program Manager will report directly to the Executive Director and serve in a supervisory position. The position will oversee others responsible for Economic Development and Tourism, ensuring that safety and complete streets are fully integrated. The position will also help ensure the continued success of SJTPO’s Traffic Safety Education Program and its equitable service to SJTPO’s residents. Fieldwork and travel are required.
